Designing Emergency Alert App for EyEagle Device
EyEagle is a comprehensive bathroom solution built on the principle of PIDANA—Protection, Interaction, Detection, Alarm, Notification, and Action. It’s designed to help keep your elderly loved ones safe and independent in the bathroom.
Beyond supporting the founders with strategic direction, I also contributed to designing the app interface for the alert device.
To comply with my some non-disclosure agreement, I have omitted some confidential information in this case study.
The Problem
EyEagle is a safety app that works alongside a device to detect emergencies and send instant notifications.
The app needed to provide clear context, quick resolutions, and reassurance to loved ones during emergencies.
Solution
his is the most recent app I’ve worked on. It’s still undergoing testing and updates, so any research or output remains confidential and can’t be shared publicly.

Concept of Circles
Circles are groups of family members or caregivers connected to an elder’s device
Key features include:
A single household can have multiple bathrooms and devices, all linked to the same circle of people.
Users can join as many households as they want—for example, supporting both their family and in-laws.

Emergency doesn't need to be in the bathroom
While refining the caregiver app that receives emergency notifications, we realized emergencies aren’t limited to the bathroom. So, we built a simple app for the elderly too, allowing them to request help whenever they need it.
